Quest Software, a provider of IT management services, has introduced new features to Foglight, its application performance monitoring (APM) product.
The enhanced Foglight provides an array of features for the benefit of improving the application performance monitoring process.
The application performance monitoring process includes: integration with Foglight Network Management System (NMS); enhanced user experience monitoring visibility; Java single trace enhancements; cross-platform database views; and expanded single sign-on support.
Quest Software virtualisation and monitoring business unit vice-president and general manager Carl Eberling said the company recognises that performance monitoring offerings must support the rapid adoption of modern virtual and cloud-based application architectures without creating additional complexity.
"As a result, Foglight easily adapts to support the needs of both novice and sophisticated monitoring stakeholders, while providing the ability to proactively identify and fix problems before they impact the business and end users," Eberling said.
