Nokia said it has solved a software glitch related to its Lumia 900 smartphones which went on sale last week in the US.
The company stated the issue is purely in the phone software, and is not related to either phone hardware or the network itself.
Last week, Nokia said its first 4G phone, can sometimes lose its data connection due to the issue and provided two options for customers if they have already purchased a Lumia 900.
The customers can update their device with the latest software through Zune from Monday, April 16 or Swap the current Lumia 900 for an updated Lumia 900.
Lumia 900 is the first Windows Phone utilising AT&T’s LTE Network.
Nokia is also offering every individual who has already purchased a Nokia Lumia 900 or who will purchase one between now and April 21, a $100 credit to their AT&T bill from Nokia.
The phone is available in the US in cyan blue and matte black at a price of $99.99 and will be joined by a white version starting April 22.
The new smart phone runs on Microsoft’s Windows operating system, and the phone is its third phone to operate on its new OS after Nokia migrated from its own Symbian system last year.
