HP has appointed Nick Watson to lead its networking business in the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region.
Nick replaces HP Networking vice president Carlos Sartorius, who is moving to a new worldwide position for HP Networking, is part of the larger Enterprise Servers, Storage and Networking (ESSN) group.
Nick will be responsible for the overall management of the business and will oversee all go-to-market and operational elements, including sales, supply chain, marketing, product portfolio planning, channel and partner resources, service and support, and finance.
Nick joins HP from Cisco Systems, where he held several senior positions, including his final, in which he was responsible for Cisco Europe’s strategic private sector accounts, applying the transformational impact of networking to the company’s largest customers.
