Network access applications manufacturer Datacom Systems has introduced Streamlite, a secure browser based application for advanced configuration and control of their high density 10 Gigabit matrix switches.
Streamlite permits fast configuration of complex packet filters, which reduces IT troubleshooting time, eliminates high cost mistakes and allows customers to direct their network traffic to security and application analysis tools to improve overall IT effectiveness.
The new release runs through a browser which means no software installation is necessary.
Matrix switches can be securely controlled by either a browser or a command line interface.
Streamlite features packet filtering, role based authorisation and a searchable port name that gives users the opportunity to take control of their network and is included with the high density Versastream 12 and 24 port matrix switches.
Streamlite represents Datacom Systems’ ability to give customers a complete flexible application to reduce IT expenses and improve network intelligence, the company said.
