Voice Over IP (VoIP) applications provider BroadSoft has acquired Texas-based hosted business VoIP applications provider, Adaption Technologies for undisclosed sum.
The acquisition of Adaption Technologies will enhance BroadSoft’s BroadCloud Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) delivery platform to include BroadWorks’ features and functionality.
Integration of Adaption Technologies’ infrastructure and Rialto, a web-based service operating platform will enable telecommunications service providers to sell, provision, activate and bill for the hosted Unified Communications services.
The enhanced BroadCloud service will reduce the costs and complexities associated with the provisioning, managing and billing of Unified Communications services.
BroadSoft’s service provider customers can now accelerate time-to-market, reduce infrastructure and on-going support costs and limit utilisation of internal resources.
BroadSoft CEO Michael Tessler said, "Adding Adaption Technologies’ solutions to our cloud platform will allow our service provider customers to speed time-to-market and accelerate time-to-revenue for their branded Unified Communications solutions."
