Belgian unit of IT service provider Logica will participate in Agile Platform web application development environment provider OutSystems’ global partner programme to accelerate local expansion.
Logica said it will use the OutSystems Agile Platform to expand its service applications and to develop web applications that reduce costs.
OutSystems International Operations vice-president Carlos Alves said the partnership expands its activities and confirms that the market realises the need for rapid project delivery based on Agile methods.
"The Logica partnership will enhance their capabilities to deliver great custom applications in record time," Alves said.
OutSystems has provided Logica team members with a series of Boot Camp training sessions earlier this year to learn the Agile Platform technology.
Both the companies are currently working together on additional internal training programmes to further expand and optimise results, the company said.
Logica Belgium vice-president Hans Vets said customers are now demanding more alignment between business and IT to respond to quickly changing business needs as well as increasingly shorter time to market requirements.
"The partnership will help us respond to these changing demands," Vets said.
