After getting rid of GTI Corp, its US operation (CI No 3,532), Telemetrix Plc, the High Wycombe, UK-based semiconductor manufacturer is back in the black with revenue from continuing operations up by 16.2% in the six months to June 30. The company recorded a mid-term profit of 2.7m pounds ($4.3m), up from a loss of 7.7m pounds ($12.3m) , on revenue that declined by 19.4% to 38.2m pounds ($61.1m). Chairman Dr Colin Gaskell says that with continued momentum from new products in the market and a program of further introductions in the coming months, directors are confident of a successful outcome for the year.
