Management consulting, technology services and outsourcing company Accenture has opened three new Innovation Centers for SAP applications in Beijing, Tokyo, and Singapore.
The innovation centres will be focused on accelerating the development, delivery and commercialisation of business applications based on SAP technologies.
The new centres integrates Accenture’s functional and industry expertise with the new SAP technologies, including the SAP HANA platform and mobility as well as cloud applications.
The centres are supported by Accenture and SAP professional teams to provide clients with process-specific business applications.
The Accenture Innovation Center for SAP applications in Beijing will focus on delivering new applications for the communications, high tech, utilities, and retail industries. In utilities segement, the centre will explore applications that can be applied to help address China’s growing energy demands.
The centre in Tokyo will focus on developing applications for high-tech companies, electric power industry, including exploring smart-meter analysis, which will be required for enabling smart cities.
The innovation centre in Singapore will focus on the consumer goods,utilities, oil and gas, and public sector industries. The centre will also serve as a hub to support clients from neighboring countries including Malaysia, Indonesia and Thailand.
Accenture’s network of innovation centres are co-located with and leverage the skills at locations across the Accenture Global Delivery Network, Accenture Technology Labs and the Accenture Global Talent and Innovation Network.
