HP Enterprise Services has signed a seven-year contract worth about $39.8m with US Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) to provide analytics to help Department of Defense (DoD) detect IT system vulnerabilities for security improvement.

Under the contract, HP will implement an Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) across the DoD as the enterprise-wide compliance application for assessment of DoD’s networks and connected IT systems as well as any known system vulnerabilities.

The contract has been awarded under DISA’s Encore II contract vehicle, under which HP will also ensure strict compliance through implementation, training, help desk, and project management services.

The company also provides integrated services for ACAS, which include the Tenable SecurityCenter product by Tenable Network Security, a Unified Security Monitoring firm. The integrated application from HP will provide DISA with a turnkey application.
