Business and technology service company Logica has introduced Accelerators for StreamInsight, an application that enables implementation of efficient StreamInsight-based applications, allowing customers to transform data into actionable business information in real time.
StreamInsight is a Complex Event Processing (CEP) capability included in SQL Server 2008 R2 and later versions. It provides an enhanced throughput stream processing architecture and .NET-based development environment.
The new application facilitates the rapid build, deployment and management of real-time analytics applications, regardless of the data’s source, relationship, or destination.
It will also allow customers to reduce the time required for data cleansing, analysis and event detection to milliseconds rather than hours or days.
Fast, lightweight applications built on Accelerators for StreamInsight can be deployed via Cloud Service, in surveillance centers or on servers close to rugged environments. These applications operate alongside existing systems such as OSIsoft PI, extending their value and in-place investment.
