After stumbling several times in India, Apple Computer Inc is putting together a strategy to make its presence felt yet again. The firm has suffered from poor management and high staff turnover in India, and has gone through a spate of managing directors in the last two years. Its brand is almost non-existent in India, though it does have a presence in the publishing market. Now, the firm says it is chalking out a new business plan ,expected to be ready in 45 days We plan to announce our strategy in 45 days, said Samir Roy, Apple South Asia managing director. We will re-look at the entire distribution network in the country, and will sign up new distributors. Since 1993, Apple has sold only 65,000 machines in India.
