Enterprise software firm CDC Software has introduced the first release of Pivotal CRM for iPad, an application that enables users to access customer relationship management (CRM) information whenever and wherever they need it.

The Pivotal Toolkit mobilises the customer’s business applications and workflows or create their own iPad applications that meet business requirements.

The new application will deliver a personal dashboard that provides a snapshot view of the information that is important to a particular user.

Information displayed in the dashboard can include charts, such as line and bar graphs, web pages, and search result lists.

Pivotal CRM’s new mobile application utilises the entire screen of the iPad where users can enjoy the benefits of the features available in advanced mobile operating systems.

Uers will be provided with instant online access to information relevant to their job by configuring searches to look at any data within the Pivotal CRM deployment. New data and updates are reflected instantly in the enterprise CRM database when the user is online.

In addition, users can still access CRM data that was synchronised to their device, even when a wireless connection is not available.

The new application can be fully integrated with Skype, LinkedIn, Facebook and Google Maps.
