Online services provider Golden Frog has selected colocation and disaster recovery services provider Data Foundry to deploy its cloud service applications.
Golden Frog has deployed its VyprVPN server cluster inside Data Foundry’s Texas 1 data centre in Austin, Texas, US.
VyprVPN is a Personal VPN service that provides a secure and private Internet connection for users throughout the world.
Data Foundry’s Texas 1 is a carrier-neutral data centre which is powered by dual, independent 400 MW substations and also will offer enterprises, cloud-based providers, and service providers the opportunity for future scalability of their infrastructure.
The online services provider has selected Data Foundry’s Texas 1 data centre because it provides high-density capabilities, 17 network carriers, and safe location in the central US.
Data Foundry CTO Edward Henigin said the company has designed Texas 1 with a purpose to offer protection, efficiency and reliability for its customers’ assets.
"Texas 1 is designed specifically to house this type of cloud service customer — one with high density deployments and mission-critical systems," said Henigin.
