New York-based web design, consulting and integration company Razorfish Inc has made two acquisitions intended to expand the company’s design and web auditing capabilities. Razorfish has agreed to pay a combined total of $49m for privately-held Lee Hunt Associates of New York and TSDesign of Boston. No breakdown of the financial terms was disclosed. The two deals, which will be accounted for as poolings of interest, will add 62 employees to Razorfish’s existing staff of 1,100.

Lee Hunt brings the company expertise in marketing and creative production for the entertainment industry. It designs and promotes media brands and television networks, with a customer list that includes NBC, PBS, Disney Channel, Lifetime and MSNBC. TSDesign, meanwhile, provides web site auditing services and lists 3M, Compaq, BankBoston, Tripod and Dell among its clients.
