The Japanese telecoms giant has signed up 35 companies across various industries to test the mobile videoconferencing system over four months. The trials, using phones that run on the 3G-324M protocol, are expected to begin on May 31.
Companies will test the phones during corporate meetings and will also use them to broadcast live events. The results can be expected late in the year, following the trial’s completion at the end of September.
