The site provides a platform to distinguish HypoVereinsbank’s regional subsidiaries in Europe, which include Vereinsund Westbank in Germany and Bank Austria in Austria. Razorfish collaborated with HypoVereinsbank to develop a site focused on a navigation system that reflects the needs and demands of the customer.
The www.hvbgroup.com site was designed to provide general information as well as resourceful data regarding each individual bank. The site provides a link to each bank for interested visitors allowing them to access specific information regarding the bank of their choice. The HVB Group’s target audiences are investors, journalists and business partners.
We chose to work with Razorfish in the development of the site because of their demonstrated creativity and global presence, said Sandra Paster, project manager, HypoVereinsbank. We were ultimately convinced of Razorfish’s strategic capabilities and their understanding of the importance of meeting the needs of our clients.
Collaborating with HypoVereinsbank has given us the opportunity to combine our expertise in user-focused design as well as our experience in financial services, said Caroline Richter, client partner for Razorfish. Because of Razorfish’s experience in these two areas, we were able to develop a site that meets the needs of HypoVereinsbank’s customers as well as the financial industry at large.
We were faced with a great challenge of transferring HypoVereinsbank’s established identity into the digital medium, said Ulrich Proeschel, director of communications and marketing for Razorfish, Germany. We were able to do this by pulling from our past work with clients such as Deutsche Bank, NatWest and ADIG.
The launch of the HVB Group site is the latest in a long list of strategic relationships Razorfish has formed with leading financial institutions, including Deutsche Bank, NatWest, Bank One, and Identrus.
