Starting EarthLink subscribers can earn greenpoints for dollars spent on EarthLink Internet access

The digital reinvention of Green Stamps, S&H greenpoints may now be redeemed for anything from office equipment and vacation packages, to clothes and charitable donations. In line with the Green Stamps legacy, greenpoints never expire, allowing consumers to save and spend their points at their leisure without the threat of losing benefits.

New EarthLink subscribers who participate in the S&H greenpoints rewards program will receive 15,000 greenpoints to be distributed over a four-month period when they activate their EarthLink service. Once enrolled in the S&H program, new and existing EarthLink subscribers will receive 15 greenpoints for every dollar spent on their Internet service.

This type of rewards program allows our subscribers to benefit from something they already do — use the Internet, said Bill Heys, executive vice president of sales for EarthLink. There’s no extra cost, no hoops to jump through, they simply sign-up and start collecting greenpoints because they’re using an EarthLink account.

S&H encourages consumers to use the power of the Internet to save time, save money, and earn rewards — and the S&H/EarthLink partnership provides an important opportunity for consumers to obtain a significant amount of greenpoints, noted Jim Buchanan, senior vice president of business development for S&H greenpoints. We’re thrilled to have EarthLink use greenpoints to form a stronger bond with its subscribers, he added. It’s what our program is all about.

As part of the partnership, EarthLink will distribute co-branded Internet access software highlighting the greenpoints offer. The S&H logo and a link to www.greenpoints.com will be displayed on participating subscribers’ Personal Start Pages, EarthLink’s highly customizable personal portal. S&H will display EarthLink as a partner on its Web site, as well as notify its members of the relationship through email.
