Under the agreement Nokia will provide network equipment enabling Jiangxi to expand its GSM 900 mobile phone network
In a press statement Nokia commented: Deliveries have already begun. The network expansion will allow Jiangxi MCC to increase capacity, as well as improve coverage in its network.
Jiangxi Mobile Communications was formed in August 1999, and this new contract represents its largest single infrastructure enterprise to date.
