Nasdaq delists WorldCom

The Nasdaq stock exchange has delisted WorldCom following the company's failure to comply with the Nasdaq listing requirement that a company remain current in its periodic filings with the US Securities and Exchange Commission. The stock exchange also expressed concerns regarding WorldCom's ongoing bankruptcy proceeding.
