The Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signed by both companies identifies TranSwitch as a preferred supplier and a strategic partner of the Samsung Network Broadband Division for the development of their next generation networking solutions.
This agreement reinforces a longstanding relationship between TranSwitch and Samsung and represents the opportunity going forward to align the TranSwitch roadmap with the Samsung product roadmap, stated Dr. Santanu Das, President and CEO of TranSwitch Corporation. Samsung has been one of our strategic customers for the past several years and this agreement recognizes TranSwitch’s contribution to Samsung Electronics in accelerating its time-to-market.
The strong relationship between TranSwitch and Samsung is evident from Samsung’s adoption of TranSwitch’s patented CellBus® switching fabric in both its current generation cdma2000 wireless network platform as well as its Broadband ADSL platform which are being deployed on a worldwide basis in several key markets.
