EDS will buy and integrate software solutions such as Ericsson Virtual Office
(EVO) software, which enables mobile users to access corporate LAN based
systems like e- mail, calendar, contacts and Intranet.
In addition, Ericsson joins EDS’ preferred providers of mobile devices
combining Internet Protocol and voice capabilities, commonly known as
convergent technologies. This equipment includes the Ericsson R380 Smartphone

Bluetooth-enabled devices providing wireless personal area networking. EDS
will train sales and delivery teams in the provision of solutions based on
these latest convergent technologies from Ericsson.
