We are pleased that Global One has chosen Focal to extend its customer reach in the United States, said Tony Leggio, president of Focal’s telecom services group. This agreement is an example of how two carriers can combine efforts to provide customers with communication options backed by premiere customer service.

Through the Master Service Agreement, Focal will connect its national voice network with the Global One international voice network, giving U.S. customers another choice for voice connectivity with competitive options. In addition, Focal will market and sell Global One data solutions, including Global Frame Relay and Global ATM service through its nationwide channels. During the last two years, both companies have been recognized for providing superior customer service. Focal, for instance, was presented the CIO-100 Award for excellence in customer service.

The agreements with Focal will allow Global One to strengthen its presence in the U.S. market, said Detlef Spang, Global One executive vice president for North America. As we expand our direct sales program in the United States, we are very pleased that we can join with Focal to offer customers innovative data and voice services.
