Sanctum releases AppScan for Mercury

Sanctum Inc today will release a version of its AppScan QA application vulnerability scanner specifically designed to run with Mercury Interactive Corp's TestDirector 8.0 quality assurance software.

AppScan automates parts of the process of testing web applications for security problems. In August, when the QA version of the software was released, Sanctum said it had an API open than allowed customers to integrate it with third party testing tools.
