Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC) is to provide development and maintenance services to support 25 of the insurer’s business system applications.
The contract also includes CSC’s Life/J system, an administration platform designed to support the processing of life and pension products through the entire life cycle of an insurance policy.
CSC said the agreement illustrates the firm’s commitment to the application outsourcing business in Asia’s insurance sector.
This contract with CSC will allow us to leverage CSC’s core competencies and experience in applications management to deliver effective insurance services to our customers in Japan, said Evert Nooter, CIO of ING Life Insurance.
