The system has been designed to allow either the employer or employee to initiate the online claim. It has a flexibility, the insurer says, that will also allow users to do part of the claim process online and part on paper. Systems behind the scenes will then match up the parts of each the claim while keeping all medical information confidential. Once a claim is submitted, the system will allow employers and employees to track its progress online.
