The company has refocused over the last year and now almost exclusively targets the needs of big business customers and prospects. The company has developed a view that most businesses pass through several stages in their approach to service and asset management evolution. Going forward, Peregrine intends to position itself in the market with products and services to suit all stages of that evolution, from basic asset-tracking and problem-ticketing to proactive process automation and service optimization.

Earlier in the year it brought out an expense control module so that IT procurement managers can capture, manage and track all costs associated with any IT asset from purchase to disposal, or trace the history of software assets and licenses to ensure compliance with lease and maintenance agreements.

Theses latest moves are intended to help IT and financial directors make more intelligent budgeting and purchasing decisions.
