The insurer had deployed Guidewire’s ClaimCenter and ImageRight’s Document Management tools to manage its claims-related email processes. The software sends all claim-related emails to one central email box where they are processed by ImageRight. The Guidewire ClaimCenter then automatically notifies the appropriate claim handler when new documents become available.
Instead of taking hours to receive or to hunt down the needed information, new documents will hit our claim handlers’ desktops in a matter of seconds, said Adrian Brown, CIO, Canal Insurance. As a result, we are able to respond to customers more quickly, while simultaneously reducing our overall claim processing costs.
ImageRight said its platform provides document management, rendering and storage capabilities designed to enable insurers to manage documents in any format, from any source. Guidewire’s ClaimCenter is a web-based claims process management system that uses business rules to manage the end-to-end claim process and improve claim outcomes.
