Free-hotspot.com is installing its service in restaurants, cafes, pubs, hotels, transit, retail and other public locations across Europe – it already has a large number of locations in the US and other countries. The company is providing the hardware needed at no cost to the HotSpot venue.
The company provides a directory of its free hotspots on its homepage, and said it makes its money by working with local, national and multi-national advertisers and agencies to, develop online marketing programs and initiatives intended to reach Wi-Fi users through their ‘on-site’ HotSpot channel as well as their online ‘portal’ advertising channel.
Free-hotspot.com is located in Dublin, Ireland and is a subsidiary of Anacapa Holdings, an online marketing company.
