The product, also named Autologica, forms part of the company’s Dealer Management Systems (DMS) suite of software currently deployed by the US and European automotive, trucking, construction equipment and agricultural machinery industries. Alfredo McClymont, CEO of Autologica, hopes to expand the offering to Latin America, where he says DMS technology is only just taking off.

A DMS focuses on the specific and distinctive problems that a vehicle dealer faces, whether regarding vehicle sales, parts inventory and service department management, vehicle financing, or administrative issues, McClymont added. The main goal of a DMS is to increase efficiency and lower costs for dealership owners, and also to give them key real-time indicators, through a Control Panel, of the precise status of every department.

In addition, Autologica allows dealers to automatically exchange information with manufacturers via the internet.

The product will be sold in Mexico through local distributors, who will also offer training and technical support.
