Toronto-based Panorama has signed separate agreements with Rinpak, a Chinese provider of software for retail firms and Raymark Xpert Business Systems Inc, a Canadian retail IT solutions provider with strong ties in the region.
Rinpak offers two retail solutions: Raymark’s Xpert Series and the Retek retail solution suite (Retek Inc is a US retail software provider that was recently acquired by Oracle Corp). It is now offering Panorama’s NovaView data analytics software as part of its solution offering.
Shanghai-based Rinpak (which is a subsidiary of Rinpak Technology Holding Ltd) will also act as Panorama’s lead distributor in China. The partnership has already led to one new client – Versace in Hong Kong and China, which is using Rinpak and Panorama technologies to construct an automated merchandising, customer behavior tracking and employee performance management system, and Siemens Shanghai.
Montreal-based Raymark’s Xpert solution has an expanding base of customers in Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Singapore.
