The insurer is adopting the system to support all of its property claims across Canada, after conducting a testing program in Southwestern Ontario.
Symbility says the platform is a wireless, onsite pen-based system that allows adjusters and contractors to process claims faster than traditional processing systems.
The system is available for tablet and pocket PCs with integrated Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and GPRS/1X wireless technology.
Symbility hopes the deal will be the first of many within the insurance community. It is also hoping to market the product in the US.
