The existing agreement, which was inked in 1996, covers the technical processing of Volkswagen Visa and Master Cards and services such as bonus programs.
The extended contract includes the graphical user interface Semprisgui of the new front ends for Atos’ recently developed card management system Sempris. This is expected to provide Volkswagen Bank with direct real-time access on Atos Worldline Systems, a move that it is hoped will enable the firm to deal with business transactions more efficiently.
