Launched in September, the electronic version of Advisor Today is an alternative to the print edition. Subscribers can choose to receive the magazine in either the digital or print format.
It’s no secret that many print outlets are losing subscribers, says John Davidson, NAIFA’s president. More people look to digital technology and the internet to get valuable information. Our members are no exception.
The electronic version of the complete issue of Advisor Today allows readers to skim through the magazine. Features include zoom, web links, search, archives, print and download, which lets the magazine be saved for offline viewing.
NAIFA plans to send offer letters to Advisor Today subscribers by email for the next three months. The message will include a link to the digital magazine. After the three-month introductory period, readers will have the option of converting their subscription to the new digital format or to continue with the print format.
