This new methodology for patient association will provide another mechanism to quickly complete patient association and ultimately improve the management and retrieval of physician orders.
Caldwell said the OmniLinkRx enhancement will increase the overall efficiency of the pharmacy.
The OmniLinkRx tool is designed to enable nurses to scan physician orders and send an electronic image to the central pharmacy for immediate verification. The system also offers a stat queuing capability to facilitate faster turnaround times.
