Palm said the Palm EMEA alliance follows a successful relationship in the US where Motricity has powered Palm’s Software Connection web site since April.
It said the new storefronts are built on a carrier-grade platform to provide high service availability. Motricity will also provide customer service and support via email.
The company said the storefronts provide Palm customers with an improved user experience and a broad, localized content catalogue of more than 400 downloadable Palm OS applications for Palm devices, including Palm Treo smartphones, Palm LifeDrive mobile managers, and Palm handhelds.
