IPcelerate claims that its software bundle addresses the most commonly utilized features and requests from current education customers, including enhancing communications between teachers and parents, ensuring a safe and secure environment for students, and providing real-time awareness for administrators to quickly respond to emergency situations.
Key functions of the K12 education solution include customized intercom and paging, dial-out support for inclement weather, attendance, and emergency notification, internal 911 alert notification, RFID registration and configuration, on-demand recording of bomb threats and malicious calls, and triggered video surveillance and alerting.
This is the second bundled solution introduced by IPcelerate for a specific vertical market and uses the IPsession, IPstudio and IP Video Surveillance application servers.
The VoIP package will also integrate with upcoming IPcelerate offerings, the company said, including a video communication tool that allows for virtual student groups and enhanced teacher-parent interaction.
Schools provide much more than an education, stated Kevin Brown, CEO of IPcelerate. They provide their students with meals, transportation, healthcare, and most of all, a safe haven. Our VoIP solutions help schools effectively provide these services and positively impact the learning environment for our children and the teaching environment for the staff.
