US-based technology company Docusign has announced the expansion of its longstanding collaboration with Salesforce, introducing its Intelligent Agreement Management (IAM) platform directly within Salesforce, Slack, and Agentforce.

The integration allows revenue teams to manage and progress agreement workflows without switching between different tools.

The move aims to address challenges faced by sales teams that traditionally needed to navigate unstructured documents and separate file repositories to access agreement data.

By embedding Docusign’s IAM platform natively into Salesforce applications, both companies seek to streamline deal processes and reduce delays, while providing real-time contract insights and highlighting hidden risks associated with document obligations.

Salesforce president and chief commercial officer Bill Patterson said: “Every agreement has the power to move a business forward, yet disconnected processes often stall growth.

“Building on two decades of partnership with Docusign, we’re bringing agreement intelligence and workflows natively into Salesforce, Agentforce, and Slack so people and AI agents can turn executing agreements into a competitive advantage.”

The enhanced integration also extends to Slackforce and the Headless Toolkit, facilitating access to Docusign’s agreement management features across emerging agentic environments.

Docusign president and chief revenue officer Paula Hansen said: “By extending Docusign’s integration across Salesforce, Agentforce, and Slack, we’re putting agreement data directly into the hands of the teams closing and managing deals, rather than leaving it siloed in a separate platform.

“The same intelligence that closes a deal can flag the renewal, surface the expansion, and uncover the cross-sell. Agreements aren’t a step in the process, they’re a constant source of intelligence that drives a business forward.”

According to the companies, sales teams using the integrated Docusign features can ask contract-related questions, generate agreements, and manage the full agreement lifecycle from drafting to final signature within their existing Salesforce CRM.

The system also offers AI-supported tools for contract review and renewal tracking, and enables teams to act on agreements within Slack conversations.

Docusign’s latest updates focus on supporting deep, agentic workflows inside Salesforce Agentforce, allowing AI-driven contract management and workflow automation without leaving the CRM platform.

Last month, Salesforce launched Koa, a customer relationship management reasoning model developed for the Agentforce platform in collaboration with Nvidia.
