Cyera, a US-based data security and AI firm, has announced a $400m extension to its Series G funding round, backed by Growth Equity at Goldman Sachs Alternatives and led by Evolution Equity.
The company plans to use these resources to further develop its unified platform that manages access for people, machines, and AI agents throughout enterprise systems.
The funding will be directed towards expanding Cyera’s AI Security product roadmap, supporting new features for controlling access and identity across complex networks where AI agents operate.
It will also be used to drive expansion into federal markets and support ongoing growth in international regions such as Asia-Pacific (APAC) and Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA).
According to Cyera, demand for increased oversight of AI agents is rising in these areas.
Cyera co-founder and CEO Yotam Segev said: “AI infrastructure is moving faster than the security architecture around it. This investment accelerates our work to bring data and identity together, so enterprises can give agents access with confidence and keep that access aligned with business intent.”
Cyera said that its technology addresses a growing concern among large businesses about the risks posed by autonomous AI agents, which, unlike traditional software, act independently with access to sensitive data and core business operations.
The company stated that traditional security models focus on people and applications, rather than the complexity presented by AI agents acting at machine speed.
Recent product developments by Cyera include Cyera Endpoint and Agent Guardian. These tools are designed to provide companies with visibility and accountability over AI agents, including monitoring activities such as tool calls and database queries from the cloud to local endpoint devices.
Earlier this month, Cyera completed its $1bn acquisition of Oasis Security, which serves as an access management platform for the agentic enterprise.
Cyera said that the acquisition has enabled it to combine its capabilities in data visibility with Oasis’ non-human identity management. This has created a system to govern access for humans, machines, and AI agents in one integrated platform, the company added.
Goldman Sachs Alternatives Growth Equity managing director Irit Kahan said: “Securing AI will be one of the defining categories in enterprise technology over the next decade.
“Cyera was the first to bring data and identity together, and as agents multiply faster than anyone can track, the gap between what they’re trusted to do and what they can actually reach is becoming increasingly dangerous.
“Cyera’s technology, customer traction, and execution position it to become the platform enterprises rely on to secure AI.”
Cyera’s latest funding round aims to accelerate the company’s efforts to provide organisations with centralised control and governance for data and identity access in AI-driven environments.
In June 2026, Cyera secured $600m in funding, placing the company’s valuation at $12bn.
