According to the company, the multi-protocol label switching (MPLS) expansion to these destinations will add to its existing over 120 (Points of Presence) within India and its network presence in China, Singapore, Hong Kong, Japan, Australia, and Sri Lanka as well as the company’s global network of international PoPs, strategic alliances and IPSec functionality.
Other initiatives in the Asia region include the construction of the TGN-Intra Asia cable system that offers a new design, avoiding earthquake zones around Taiwan. This cable system is provisioned to have direct link from Singapore to Japan and Hong Kong; and provide inroads to emerging markets such as Vietnam and the Philippines.
The company claims to have a comprehensive Global VPN Services portfolio that enables customers with flexible access options, port speeds, and traffic prioritization through multiple classes of service. Customers can choose from other networking services, including Managed Security, Managed Hosting and Storage, and TelePresence to avoid multiplicity of vendors for different network needs.
