According to Polystar, by measuring the actual usage of the shared 3G network, its service is expected to enable Svenska UMTS-Nat to capture real time information for its CDR based accounting system.
The non-intrusive monitoring system creates CDR’s for every individual video, SMS and voice calls or for other packet data services, transported through the network, including information of actual bandwidth usage on a per-subscriber level. This functionality supports Multi Operator Core Network (MOCN), non-MOCN or pre-MOCN networks. The CDR-output is expected to be provided under the operation service 24/7 agreement, said Polystar.
Jan Ohman, CEO of Polystar, said: We are very proud for the continued trust that Svenska UMTS-Nat demonstrates us by entering this long-term operation service agreement and are looking forward to continue developing this partnership. We are delighted to provide unique state-of-the-art capabilities to our customer that offers innovative and market leading technologies of MOCN for shared and multi-vendor networks.
