SAIC will continue to support the Small Arms Weapons Systems Division with the development, integration, and improvement of new and existing weapon systems. The company will also provide engineering, technical, and management support for scientific/engineering analysis, test and evaluation, field engineering, configuration management, and overhaul and maintenance.

The company won a similar contract in May from NSWC, worth $243m over five-years, to provide engineering and technical services in support of the Navy’s Joint Special Missions Focus Area. SAIC has won over $2 billion worth of contracts since winning the SeaPort-e contract in March 2004.

Tom Baybrook, senior vice president and business unit manager at SAIC, said: This task order award continues our longstanding relationship with the NSWC Crane in the area of rotary-wing and surface platform small arms systems integration.
