The US IT giant said it has recently inked IT services deals with various banking and securities firms in Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia, Korea and China.
Wins include Indonesia’s Bank Negara, which IBM is working with to develop a SOA architecture on its WebSphere portfolio of software and services, as well as Vietnamese securities brokerage firm Dai Viet, to implement and maintain a new trading platform on IBM’s System x platform.
IBM has also won a $13m deal that spans over seven-years to assist Korea’s Kookmin Bank in designing a new IT architecture and providing systems transformation analysis services.
