Blink Logic stated that the new BI solution allows users to catapult their current Cognos 7 investment to new ROI potential in a matter of days. Leveraging a Blink Logic installation, users can extend their Cognos Series 7 infrastructure with new capabilities including dashboarding, analysis, collaboration, annotation, scorecarding, and location intelligence.
The company also said that its service-as-a-software (SaaS) solution layers on top of the existing Cognos architecture offering users opportunities to maximize current investments rather than spend time evaluating new, expensive and potentially limiting business intelligence (BI) platforms.
The SaaS-based Blink Logic tool allows end users to readily navigate multidimensional data as well as create, organize and layout interactive dashboards without relying on specialized report authors or the IT department. Blink Logic extends mission-critical capabilities for those Cognos Series 7 customers that have yet to changeover to the Series 8 infrastructure.
