The health information exchange (HIE) system will demonstrate the feasibility of efficient and data interchange. The solution facilitates the exchange of information such as patient demographics, allergies, medications, discharge summaries and clinical summaries.
The integration of health services will allow immediate access to comprehensive patient information and improvements in the quality of care administered to Erickson residents. It will also facilitate communication among medical service providers, lower health care costs associated with patient treatment and administration. The goal of seamless health information interoperability was accomplished with the deployment of HealthUnity’s solution for HIEs.
