LSE selects Corvil’s technology

The London Stock Exchange has selected Corvil's technology to help manage low-latency in the network and achieve record performance levels in its brand new trading system, called TradElect, making it one of the fastest trading information systems.

The solution deployed in the London Stock Exchange (LSE) consists of unique micro visibility and low-latency analysis software and services provided by Corvil, running on top of newly released application deployment engine appliances from Cisco Systems.

Robin Paine, CTO of London Stock Exchange, said: To achieve our latency and performance targets for TradElect, we needed network visibility at sub-millisecond granularity. We use this micro visibility to provision the network for low latency.
