The Chicago-based company said it created its new AI Research unit to develop analytic algorithms that use complex data mining techniques to extract customer preferences and product features from historical transactional data.
Analytics Innovations said the analytics being developed will go well beyond traditional data segmentation and modeling techniques and that companies faced with selling a broad range of products to a sizable customer base will benefit most from it.
