The Ohio-based credit union is leveraging OnBase across its three branches to keep pace with its growing membership. Ohio HealthCare Federal Credit Union (Ohio HealthCare FCU) has already installed OnBase and seen significant benefits. Employees at the credit union use OnBase to scan, index and archive documents such as new member applications and loan applications to decrease processing time of documents and increase member satisfaction.
OnBase is an ECM software suite with applications that include document imaging, workflow, electronic document management, COLD/ERM and records management. OnBase allows financial institutions to manage all digital content, including scanned paper documents, e-mails, faxes, print streams, application files, e-forms, web content and multimedia files.
Ohio HealthCare FCU has integrated OnBase with Harland Financial Solutions’s Ultradata system for core processing. The seamless integration of OnBase with Ultradata makes information management easier while improving service to members of the credit union. Through this integration, employees will be able to instantly access all member documents and reports across Ohio HealthCare FCU’s three branches directly through the Ultradata system interface. Eventually, Ohio HealthCare FCU plans to implement OnBase throughout the entire credit union, including in the accounting and human resources departments.
