The Shinsaibashi Data Center is IIJ’s 14 th, and it was opened in Osaka, one of the highest demand centers in the Kansai region. The center is based on an outsourcing-on-demand concept, and provides a wide range of services such as system operation and monitoring, in addition to basic collocation services.
The data center provides a platform on which other IIJ group services can be run, providing a total network solution, from network systems construction to systems outsourcing. Osaka is a hub of economic activity, and the convenient location within the city limits combined with earthquake-resistant structures that absorb shocks, make this an ideal service for either outsourcing or for use as a disaster recovery site.
