As part of the implementation, Keane will install its clinical Electronic Medical Record (EMR) and Pharmacy application throughout the facility to provide clinicians with immediate access to patient information using secure, browser-based technology at the point of service.
Gene Grochala, chief Information Officer at Capital Health System, said: Capital Health System provides its patients with more state-of-the-art technology than any other healthcare system in the region. We chose Keane’s InSight product because of its extensive clinical functionality for physicians and nurses, and feature-rich display capabilities, infrastructure simplification, as well as the ease of integration with our existing IT infrastructure. We were impressed with the high level of experience and dedication of Keane’s team, and look forward to working together on this implementation. We remain committed to providing our patients with the best technology available.
Marv Mouchawar, executive vice president, products and corporate development, said: Patient safety is a major concern for healthcare organizations today, and our Keane InSight product line provides clinicians with better access to critical patient information. By bringing complete patient information directly to the point of service, Keane InSight helps improve clinical decision making and minimizes medical errors.
