A fifth of Apple iPad users have more than one iPad device in their homes, according to data released from YouGov’s UK Tablet Track study .

The YouGov study that surveyed 802 tablet device owners revealed that 17% of Apple iPad owners claimed they have more than one tablet in their homes, either owned by themselves or another family member.

More than 37% of Apple iPad owners said that they bought another iPad because their partner uses the iPad and 17% said it was used by family members, while 14% said their children were using it frequently, the report stated.

The YouGov survey attributed this affinity to iPad by the whole family because of its user-friendly nature.

The survey also polled tablet owners who are planning to buy another device, and found that 19% of all tablet owners said they were considering purchasing another tablet in the future.

The survey also found that 69% of the owners who are planning to buy another device would chose iPad, while 24% would opt for a Kindle.
